On the afternoon of September 12, Modula hosted Modula Day at its Suzhou factory.

We specially invited guests from the IMA and CMA Suzhou Elite Clubs to explore a central question: Integration of business and finance, empowerment through digital intelligence, driving cost reduction and efficiency, and connecting the future supply chain.

Introduction to IMA and CMA

IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) is a century-old global professional organization focusing on management accounting, strategic planning, financial analysis, and decision-making, providing growth and support platforms for corporate finance professionals.

CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is a global management accounting certification offered by IMA and is regarded as the “gold standard” in international finance.

From factory tour to roundtable discussion, we opened our doors and processes to demonstrate how digital supply chains are truly implemented at Modula—when every team plays its part, collaboration becomes the greatest driving force for business advancement.

01
Opening: Messages from Three Guests

At the start of the event, three distinguished guests delivered opening remarks, officially kicking off the day:

Paula Yu (CFO, Modula)

Paula briefly introduced the development history of Modula and the origin of the brand.

She noted that “Modula” reflects innovation and inclusivity: “‘摩登(a transliteration of modern)’ represents modernity and innovation, while ‘纳’(‘Na’ represents the meaning of ‘to accommodate’) symbolizes openness and inclusiveness. Just like our vertical lift modules, with highly innovative designs and broad adaptability, they have become leading solutions in the industry.”

The name Modula embodies a spirit of continuous innovation and embracing diversity.

Cody Xu (Chairman, CMA Suzhou Elite Club)

Cody expressed gratitude to Modula for supporting the event and shared the work of CMA Suzhou Elite Club in member services and resource integration.

He emphasized that the association will continue building bridges to help enterprises strengthen communication and cooperation, jointly driving industry development.

Anna Zhu (Manager, Partnerships & Development, IMA East China)

Anna shared the latest research from IMA and explained the Expanded Management Accounting Competency Framework, outlining the future of accounting and finance and highlighting the critical role of digital transformation in financial management.

02
Tour of Modula 4.0 Smart Factory

The factory tour was a highlight of the event. Guests witnessed Modula’s vertical lift modules and advanced intelligent storage systems firsthand, learning how these technologies help companies achieve high-efficiency storage and retrieval in limited spaces, improving warehouse management, and reduce operational costs.

Through digital and intelligent applications, Modula not only optimizes warehouse space but also promotes high-efficiency collaboration across the supply chain.

The modern storage model for financial and administrative documents left the visitors deeply impressed, completely reshaping their traditional perception of archive management.

Every detail showcased Modula’s outstanding innovation and practical expertise in intelligent warehousing.

03
In-Depth Discussion: New Paths for Cost Reduction and Efficiency in Supply Chains

In the keynote speech, Modula’s Operations Director, Frank, presented “Digital and Intelligent Supply Chains: Core Paths to Cost Reduction and Efficiency.”

He combined Modula’s operational experience to demonstrate how digital tools and intelligent solutions help enterprises improve efficiency, lower costs, and maintain resilience and vitality in a competitive market environment.

04
Roundtable Discussion: The Power of Teams

The roundtable was the centerpiece of the event. Several core Modula managers—CFO Paula, Operations Director Frank, Customer Service Director Jared, Quality Manager Bob, and East China Sales Manager Tina—discussed the critical role of cross-department collaboration in enhancing overall business performance using real-life examples.

Paula, serving as moderator, cited a metaphor from Miguel, Modula APAC Managing Director: “A team is like a chain, and each link represents a department in the company. To lead the market in China and maintain sustainable financial performance, we must continually strengthen the entire chain.”

“A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.”

This statement set the tone for the roundtable and sparked deep reflection on “What is a team?”

To strengthen a team, every link must be reinforced, and interdepartmental collaboration optimized. At the same time, it is important to recognize that departments develop at different paces; leadership must focus on identifying and improving the “weakest links.”

This segment vividly illustrates the collaborative value of Modula’s team in intelligent supply chains and provided guests with deeper insight into how Modula creates greater value for customers through teamwork.

05
Looking Ahead: The Infinite Possibilities of Intelligent Supply Chains

The event concluded successfully with group photos of guests and the Modula team, capturing this memorable day.

During the event, we not only showcased innovations in intelligent warehousing but also explored how finance can resonate with factory operations: data is no longer just numbers on a report—it becomes a tangible driving force for factory optimization, supply chain collaboration, and strategy implementation.

Modula will continue to promote the integration of digitalization and intelligence, enabling finance and operations to work closely together, helping more enterprises reduce costs and improve efficiency, moving toward a more resilient and sustainable future.

Modula invites you:
“Come here and see the future!”
