We often hear companies say that they are not yet ready for automation, and due to various reasons, such as business size, they do not dare to make such a big move. The case of Net Seals shows us that the automation upgrade does not have to be done in one step but can be done step by step.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Modula VLMs have been supporting our business for 15 years, turned our operation from the Stone Age to technological innovation stage, we will soon integrate robots in our warehouse&#8221;. said Andrea Rani, CEO of Net Seals.<\/p>\n<p>Net Seals is an Italian company that mainly distributes hydraulic and pneumatic seals and components, with more than 1,000 customers in over 80 countries around the world.<\/p>\n<p>They have 30,000 types of products in stock, making them a perfect spare parts warehouse for a number of manufacturers and distributors.<\/p>\n<p>But Net Seals was not so big company in the beginning. In 1999, the company had only 5 employees and gradually expanded to 55 employees today.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, they bought their first Modula VLMs, which have now grown to a total of 40 automated warehouses.<\/p>\n<p>Now, Net Seals&#8217; logistics has realized the automation of the entire logistics process, and the Put to Light system can help operators perform picking tasks faster, and more precisely when preparing orders.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, some Modula VLMs are used to store heavy materials, each pallet can hold a load of 750kg, and other Modula VLMs are used to store lighter hydraulic components such as O-rings.
